Trail Conditions: OK to ride the grades, but stay off the trails for now
OK today but a little crappy weather coming our way the next few days. But maybe that will make the fish bite. They have a little bit of snow forecasted for Friday but that may pass. At least we hope it will. Tomorrow is the Opener of Walleye season, why are you still at home reading my bullshit on the internet.
Just like my trails reports in the winter time, I will always give you the straight scoop and never try to bullshit you and give you the wrong information just to try and get you up here. I will do the same during fishing season, I think I have a reputation for telling the truth. With that said, I snapped a photo of a fishing person down on the Bergland Dam this morning, it was beautiful when I woke up to the crack of Dawn, I mean Becker LOL.

It was a cold day in May. An old man paddled out into a cold Lake Gogebic ,dropped in his fishing line, and waited patiently for a biteHe was there for almost an hour, without even a nibble, when a young boy paddled out into the Lake next to him. The young boy dropped his fishing line and minutes later he hooked a Large Walleye. The old man couldn’t believe his eyes but chalked it up to plain luck. Shortly thereafter, the young boy pulled in another large catch. The young boy kept catching fish after fish. Finally, the old man couldn’t take it any longer. “Son” he said, “I’ve been here for over an hour without even a nibble. You’ve been here only a few minutes and have caught a half dozen fish! How do you do it?” The boy responded, “Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm.” “What was that?” the old man asked. Again the boy responded, “Roo raf roo reep ra rums rarrm.” “Look,” said the old man, “I can’t understand a word you’re saying.” The boy spat the bait into his hand and said… “You have to keep the worms warm!” |
